Getting fatesealed and having it stay on top is one of the worst feelings in all of magic. Worse, is when you draw a card that would otherwise answer the Jace.... because it ain't happening.

Remember when people were calling it Commander Horizons? Yeah.... Urza is crazy powerful!
@monkeibusiness5 жыл бұрын
Afaik that was before a really big banlist update and it kinda still is true, because MH did not bring t4/t3 decks and archetypes up a lot by itself, the support from commons and uncommons wasnt as big as many hoped. But evaluating the impact of Single cards is really, really hard anyways. Way harder than trying to look smart now. I mean, just watch the rhystic Studies video about siege rhino.
@LaserfaceJones5 жыл бұрын
@@monkeibusiness They didn't introduce 200+ cards that completely redefined the format, but we're seeing Snow becoming a viable support framework, had a completely broken deck twice over with Nickelodeon Gak, Whirza, W6, Soulherder (and the related memery), Lava Dart and Aria of Flame, the Canopy lands, and more. It shook the format up a lot, and gave lots of decks lots of tools. I think the Commander Horizons thing is silly personally considering I can think of that many examples off the top of my head. Also not saying you were saying that, since it didn't look like you were, just tangenting a bit
@monkeibusiness5 жыл бұрын
@@LaserfaceJones I agree, we're just both expanding on the discussion a bit, because both sides make it seem way too easy. :) I will say though... "Modern Horizons" was quite the misnomer.
@dragonlordojutai91395 жыл бұрын
@@monkeibusiness Just because Commander players took cards from it doesn't mean it was a Commander set. Commander players will play literally any card that's legal in their format, it's not saying much. The set isn't a misnomer because it literally was designed for modern and was the first set to skip standard and go straight to modern. Yes, the set impacted eternal formats as well and again Commander players will literally put any magic card in their deck, but it wasn't FOR them.

At 48:00 or so, when you sacrificed the EE to the Sai, you should have kept it. Then you could have copied EE with Saheeli and popped the copy to kill the Chalices. That line would have really been good with the PO you just drew.

A copy of Future Sight seems good to me with all the cheap artifacts and Urza. Likely in the Aetherflux slot.

I was brewing a very similar deck shortly after MH release when the meta was way faster, do you think Trinisphere is good in the deck since you don't want to play the 0 drops anyway before going of and urza can shut it of

@giovannimanfredi44235 жыл бұрын
Sorry LSV, 1st match game 2, why don't you play Sai and then mox opal? You would have had 2 additional mana (one from opal and one from New thopter cause urza) to bounce/draw with spellbomb. Same game turn before death activating urza with 5 mana tapping all the artifacts doesn't seem bad at all
@Willd2p25 жыл бұрын
There was a revoker naming Urza. Revoker turns off mana abilities so none of this works.

Due to sunburst, he had to pay an extra mana because of Thaalia, but as long as it is a different color he will still get the sunburst counter, which means you still only pay 2 mana.

Hey guys, asking for some help on MTGO :) Thanks in advance ! Apparently MTGO had some problems today. My account is no longer active. And in the log in screen, they ask me to create a new account and I can't use my MTGO surname for the new one. Yesterday, in my origin account, I bought multiple cards. If I create today a new account as they tell me, will I lose all my purchased cards from yesterday ?
