the rooms layout doesn't flow well, hameno too many small corners/spaces making it dark. 1800 is too much for the location and what you get.
@melmel8683 Жыл бұрын
Not only for the location but the country as well, let's not forget Zim is a 3rd world country, rentals should reflect salaries etc, it's too much

Nice one, again. Whereabouts in Avondale? I had a girlfriend who lived in Avondale and I would ride my bike from Greendale all the way to her place to see her. Often came out this way for movies and theatre; Vistarama & 7arts...Used to come the University to play club hockey. Cheers.

Bloody hell! 3 bathrooms for a 3-bed flat? One bathroom per person? Who granted the planning permission? More space should have been given to those tiny bedrooms. Not much space after you put in a double bed. Pros - downstairs is well laid out and the room sizes are good. The kitchen is large and beautiful. Excellent presentation by Mr Zim. Cons - not enough natural light. It looks dark. How much is a flat like this for purchase? Which fecthes more rental money - a full 5-bed double-storey house in Hillside or this flat in Avondale? 1800 is very enticing for an investment property. Those are really good returns.

It looks dark because the structure is horrible inside. It looks like a basement car park!
@MegaLmae Жыл бұрын
@@mbizi4573 Yes. Maybe it's a converted property. Having three bathrooms is weird. If a property has less than 4 bedrooms it doesn't NEED more than one bathroom. There are building codes, ISOs and British Standards around this. Even toilet paper has British Standards on how to manufacture it. And yes, our architecture is still built to British Standards.

Mr Zim I love all your videos. Keep up the good work. But in all honesty, this apartment is not worth 1800$. It's over priced, the rooms are very small and dark. The owner needs to reconsider this price, maybe 800$.
@Nomubulelo Жыл бұрын
Was thinking the same thing. Was wondering why it was so pricey. Its so dark, no natural lighting, looks old. I hope the owner does reconsiders the rental price, for real.

You didn't mention if it has air conditioning, which would be nice to know. Perhaps with the unreliable electricity it's not worthwhile. Possibly the building design has large roof overhangs to keep it cooler- this may account for the rooms appearing dark. Unfortunate about the neighbour's noisy dogs.

Why pay $1800 rent in Zim whilst you can save the same amount buy a stand and build a better house than this one. 1. One year rent $1800x12 = $21600 Thus a Stand in the new middle density Suburb 2. 2nd year rent $1800x12= $21600 Build a better house than this one This one is a No

@marigoldbeam5475 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for another video Mr Zim, but this one is a no, no for me. Design is everything and this lacks the all important inclusion of natural light. The windows are too few and the ones that are there, are tiny. I know good quality window frames and glass are expensive, but I would think if an owner wants to have a ridiculous rental price they are essential. This reminds me of the dark homes you find in much of the UK. No thanks.
