@@MileageMikeTravels US 29 is pretty much the same the rest of US 29 north of Charlotte (to just north of Ellicott City MD, and the interchanges with US 40 and Interstate 70) - pretty darn nice.

Thanks for the drive. Atlanta has beautiful fresh trees. One state I'm sure to visit. Thanks for the route29.👍

Please make more videos like these that are longer and not on interstates. They help me go to sleep and I love staying on one road for an extended distance.

Great video, and you drove all the way through- no breaks? That would have been about 3-4 bathroom breaks for me, haha.

I've driven most of US 29 by happenstance on routes I used to have to drive over the years, so a lot of this looks familiar. I love drives like this, away from the interstate (even though it crosses I-85 occasionally).

Thank you very much for taking this long video and for uploading it. I am from Flat Florida and I'm terrified of driving in the mountains. I can't do it. So far I've watched 1:30 hours and it's not bad. But I need to see how the rest of the drive is to determine if I can drive or not. Just discovered you today, so I'll come back to your videos (already subscribed) to make sure I get to watch your videos before I undertake a mountainous drive.

Thanks and welcome. Glad to hear the videos are helping! I-26 or I-75 are probably the best routes for avoiding a mountainous trip across the Appalachians.

US 29 between Cowpens and Spartanburg in SC is named honorary Kate Barry Blvd. Kate Barry was a Revolutionary War heroine in the Spartanburg area. This is only one of 2 roads in the US that I know of that are named for female Revolutionary War heroes.
@dftns193 жыл бұрын
Don't think I've ever been here or driven on the road, but that's probably what made it interesting to me. Put it on a dreary day while getting some work done and it's like taking a little road trip.
