She's anxiety ridden for sure, but that doesn't mean she's bipolar. She's someone who clearly has not buried her demons regarding her previous abusive relationship, which I understand. It takes years to heal and move forward.

@@domino3023 she's the same way on Charm School...like, i've been rewatching these shows lately and came over here after Charm School...i remember it clearly cuz i commented over there, but there was an episode where they had to dress to impress some fake duchess and one of the girls on her team was dressed a bit inappropriately and Lacey knew this. So what does "master manipulator" Lacey do? Doesn't tell her anything. Proud of herself for that too. Meanwhile, Lacey's team would've won that challenge and been safe from elimination if her teammate had been dressed appropriately (Sharon actually said, "your team would have won but..."). Not only that, but that particular girl hadn't been performing well in challenges so not only could Lacey have been safe from elimination, she could've kept an easy target in the competition. Plus, she could've snowed the judges by being like, "Look, i helped her! I'm not so bad!" But good for you Lacey for allowing yourself to be vulnerable to elimination, knowing Sharon hates you, and allowing some low-hanging fruit to go home. Kinda sums up Lacey's "masterful" game in all these shows, really.

Ok here's my take on this. (Because I'm extra and I like to talk) 😅 my views on each girl. I'm not sure what Bret was looking for but if it really is love... Brandi M is cool chick pros she's like one of the guys which means he could be comfortable as possible with her at the same time, is there more romance or is it just like hey she's like one of the fellas? Some ppl you can't connect on a deeper level than that. Jes- Everyone calls her a prude but sometimes you need balance. His lifestyle is crazy demanding etc.which is why you may need a level headed woman to balance things out. Mia- I don't know much about her. Their physical attraction just doesn't seem too strong to me. Lacey- They have music in common but she is very manipulative by nature I see she likes to provoke ppl. I don't see much of their romance either. Heather- Could be an ok choice for him. Hopefully there's more to her than partying. Sam- Love her. Yeah she's very sensitive I dont think she's "too sensitive" or jealous. To me, that actually shows she cares about him a lot.

He didn't. You're mixing him up with Flavor Flav (who had someone behind the scenes in season 2 and 3). Brett was mooning over the mother of his kids. They had an on and off relationship for years. During the filming of the shows, they were "off." Bret proposed to her after season 3 and she said yes - and then she saw the show. She was so disgusted with the way he treated the girls that she broke it off with him for good.

Watching this as an adult is so funny how different you see it. I know ppl put Heather & Lacey together but I know Heather had genuine feelings for him and that's why she acted like she did. Now Lacey was a different story. She never had any feelings for him. She was more into manipulating all the girls so she could win & she didn't even want to win because she wanted to be with Bret but rather to prove she could!! It was all a game to her. Funny thing is she and Bret had that in common so maybe it shoulda been Lacey he picked.

I firmly maintain that Bret should have picked Heather. She can cope with his narcissistic needs yet put her foot down when needed and he'd actually listen. She also has a strong presence, and I think you need that in order to have the confidence to deal with such an idiot like Bret. If I remember correctly, he didn't pick Heather because she reminded him too much of some stripper that he was completely brokenhearted about (and I think it may have been the mother of his kids).

According to her interview she did after the show aired, she did admit fault for being a bit naive. I think she was about 22 here and she didn't know what exactly she was getting into. It was more of a you live, you learn type of thing. Mia also shared a similar sentiment when she wrote an article last year about reflecting about her time on the show.
