Looks very lovely. For 6k though I would expect to see more of the harbor. Plus not one of the bathrooms had a niche. That was a big miss by the developers. Overall the space looks great but the price should be 3-4k max.
@markymark47652 жыл бұрын
Ya I was thinking 3 max. The finishes are average , the lay out is sub par , not very spacious , the appliances are not top of the line , overall almost every other country in the entire world. You would get a lot more for 6500 a month rental. This is 3 at most. Even in Beverley Hills, USA.

That's what happens when developers think they are interior designers as well. Interior design is lacking in Jamaica. Seems no one wants to pay for it.
@mbrooks13342 жыл бұрын
Wondering if it was an oversight, or deliberate decision 🤔 Certain things that are architecturally considered fads [niches in bathroom] may eventually "date" a place especially if space is seen as short-term Rental Property to, for example, working nomads ...
@amazed20192 жыл бұрын
@@markymark4765 Nope! A place like this in Beverly Hills, California, New York City/Manhattan, certain areas in Brooklyn, Park Slope, even areas in Austin, Texas, could rent for at least $20,000 U.S. a month. It depends on the area. You're paying for the property plus the exclusivity of the location, plus demand. Do some research. Very nice areas in big cities in the U.S. are very expensive. You're always going to pay much, much more in exclusive residential areas. Sure, you can always buy land in Jamaica in the country somewhere and build yourself a nice house. Not everyone wants to live in the country. And nice flooring, tile, quartz/marble/granite, hard wood floors, top end fixtures cost a lot and do add up. The house even has built in storm shutter upstairs and an elevator. In my opinion this one well worth the price, unlike some of the smaller ones he's posted about. The finishes are just very well done, fine craftmanship. Some of the others have very rough, poor quality workmanship. This one is very well done. I love the beautiful windows and doors and all the storage space throughout. Often times, builders forget people need storage and only have closets or a token space. The storage under the stairs is amazing! The only things I don't like about this house is the staircase. For such a modern house, the staircase looks very dated and old fashioned to me; and the face basins in the master bathroom are not worthy of such a nice house. The ones in the other bathrooms are much nicer. The two in the master bathroom are very basic.

I've always read comment about homes are not being affordable for people, I guess some people don't realize every country in the world have other nationality living in those countries, so it may not be affordable for the small person, but it will be good for someone else who can afford it just like I'm in another country but cannot afford to rent a penthouse in Manhattan but someone else can, I just love that property and all the amenities that comes with it, and I'm sure is worth every penny.

The real issue is that Kingston is no longer affordable for locals. Top salaries in Jamaica are closer to $10mill jmd a year and that's after 6+ years of University and 10+ years of work experience and yet the most that sort of person can afford is a 2 bedroom apartment, now imagine the rest of the country who aren't Doctors, Lawyers etc. It rough. In Manhattan there are young people making hundreds of thousands if not millions per year as employees, that ain't happening in Jamaica hence you can't compare the two.

The exterior of the building is lovely and the landscaping is beautiful. The kitchen cabinets are disappointing and so are the rails on the staircase. The miscellaneous rooms on the ground floor are a waste of space and the shelves in the storage closets look cheap. The bathrooms aren't impressive and for the price and the community, how can there not be a tub in the master bathroom?? I just think alot more could've been done with this property. These developers need to start consulting with interior designers. However, you did a really good job with your delivery Mr. Boothe 👌
