US Air Force resumes Tuskegee Airmen training video after DEI review

The U.S. Air Force is reversing course after removing video of Tuskegee Airmen from its training in response to President Donald Trump’s DEI ban. Now, the video is back, with incoming Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth pushing the change.

Zero sum. If there are limited space for roles that have been majority dominated by a single demographic, it stands to reason that demographic would be excluded by necessity to account for all of the others that had been excluded up until that point. It is math. You people are really awful by the way. Expect no sympathy from me. If people were simply allowed to live a self-determined existence without all of the toxic limited rights trickery, none of this other stuff would have been necessary. The offending demographic had a whole land mass to themselves for thousands of years and what they decided to do with it resulted in sickness, poverty, oppression, and warfare, fleeing to another continent just to get away from each other. Yes, the devil is busy...pretending to be Christian...and human.

@@carob6977 Sadly there are a lot of uninformed, ignorant people. Its also quite possible that speedy actually IS a racist unlike most people who get called that. Everyone deserves equal access / opportunity but merit should determine who gets hired for positions. Merit has nothing to do with race or gender, there are very capable people of all mixes out there. But DEI was intentionally promoting people for their identity regardless of their skill/knowledge.

Let's not forget that by the time the Tuskegee Airmen entered combat they were training together as a cohesive unit for many years with the best equipment. The enemy they faced was depleted of experienced pilots and was using war ravaged equipment. Basically they were fighting poorly trained old men and teenagers flying bathtubs.

You have no clue what you are talking about. They went into combat with P-40’s, only later getting P-51’s. P-40’s at that time were considered well worn, and second line equipment. They were given them because certain “people” wanted them to fail. The German Luftwaffe was still a viable force when the Tuskegee Airmen got into the fight. You know that Google is still free, right? If you are going to spout BS, at least make it believable.

Are you slow or just locked in a dungeon? Japan is an ethically homogenous country, meaning 98% of their population is Japanese. America is not homogeneous and never has been. Well actually, it used to be, until Europeans invaded it. And shortly after, they brought Africans with them. So our population has always "looked like" this. Whites Americans are the slim majority (about 57%). The average Black American in the US likely has a longer lineage of American-born ancestors than you do. So to imply that Blacks are not "real" Americans and should be banned from your tv screen...well, I just feel sorry for you.
