Keep in mind that throughout this entire encounter, the police officer that murdered her never had his body camera on. The murderous cop only turned on his body camera after he murdered her. It's as if his mental state was to do something to her. I suggest people go to The Civil Rights Lawyer KZbin page where he covers this video because you see the entire encounter from beginning to end. The murderous cop's partner is visibly shaken when you see him opening up the trunk of his police video and his hands are shaking while trying to compose himself. Meanwhile, the murderer has a demeanor of someone who got caught doing something he shouldn't have done while showing no remorse at all.

Here in the U.S. they're showing the entire video of the body-cam from the other officer's view. She was told to attend to the pot on the stove which she did by turning the stove off and removing the pot from the stove. She moves toward the sink to empty the water. While at the sink, emptying the pot, the officer makes comments about the boiling water and not wanting to be doused with it. She at no time made any gesture or said anything that would cause him to feel in danger: her back was turned toward him. He orders her to drop the pot or he'll shot. He draws his weapon and aims it at her. She ducks with the pot still full and lowers herself to the ground. He reaches over the partition and fires his weapon killing Sonya Massey.

Perspective from a European: Another (in my opinion) damning thing is that he noticed something may be wrong with and basically asked her about her mental health, she confirmed that she takes medication. If you watch the video the entire situation is surreal and the lady is acting extremely bizarre. She's being evasive about the most basic things even though she made the call and it's really unnerving. The cops seem cool headed for a while until she makes an obvious joke and the one cop just snaps and draws his gun while shouting. It's such a sudden shift that the lady doesn't even know how to react, so she drops onto the ground with her hands up but she's behind a little half wall in the kitchen that they can't see around. A few moments later the cop walks to where we can get eyes on her again and shoots while she's down on the ground.

I was against police unions until I thought about a policy change. If every cop BY LAW had to be in a single national police union paying union fees & that union HAD TO PAY ALL legal fees & fines levied against cops (not the cities which should be using taxpayer money to improve the city infrastructure or the police departments which should be using that money for training) the union would not let bad cops be cops for long as it would cost the police union money than collected from cops. Good cops would finally steep over the 'Thin Blue Line' & call out bad cops so they would not have to pay increasing union fees to pay for bad cops misdeeds.
