Both Mexico and the United States are complicit in maintaining drug trafficking. If the United States had not been interested in maintaining a drug market, it would have intervened years ago. But that same market has helped them get out of economic crises. For years, several journalists in Mexico mentioned the connection between Garcia Luna and the drug cartel, and even made honorable mentions of him in the United States. It is difficult to think that the situation will change, no matter if they imprison El Chapo or his son, or the Mencho or anyone else, if white-collar criminals operate, move the media, or simply remain unpunished like the HSBC money laundering to the drug cartel. Americans are lucky to have the choice of whether or not to become a drug addict. On the contrary, dealing with the drug traffickers in Mexico ends up sentencing many innocent people, whether they are kidnapped and forced to work for the drug traffickers, or are charged a flat fee in their businesses. Very sad that the right hand of former president Felipe Calderon was the one who gave the orders for all this to happen
