US Army STOL Strip in Hohenfels, Germany

The #USArmy's 7th Army Training Command has a brand new STOL Strip, or "short takeoff and landing runway," at the Hohenfels Training Area in Germany. This STOL Strip allows large aircraft, such as the U.S. Air Force C-130 to land, unload gear, load gear, and then take off again in a short amount of time, enhancing our #training ability, and increasing our #interoporability with our #NATO Allies and Partners.
