You really need to learn to use that defend area (the shield icon) when commanding aircraft it would make your life a little bit easier when defending.

no patriot towers, only depending on barrages and airstrikes, aswell using alot of units who are really weak vs GLA, the second mission is the easiest and he still takes alot longer than the regular player would.

To attack GLA just use 3 Humbie put 1 sniper to each humbie then stinger missiles

Let the carrier guard positions (press g, they spawn infinite f22 raptors so no worries if all aircraft is destroyed) if the carriers can't cut it. Use bombardment to soften stinger sites.

Also, this mission is similar to the real-life Operation Restore Hope in Somalia during the 90s. 1:25 USS Reagan, CVN-84 (not to be confused with the real-life USS Ronald Reagan, CVN-76) 7:05 New tech facility, Tech Reinforcement Pad, allows for drop of basic tank every minute or so. 16:14 Yep, 5 Paladins can just delete a Scud Missile (not the Scud Storm ones, though).

The year the game takes place is 2013. Generals 2 is supposed to take place in 2023, 10 years after the events of Zero Hour when the US stepped down from superpower status and China taking its place. But thanks to EA, they closed Victory Games and Generals 2 was cancelled in 2013 😪

game came out in 2003, raptor was first produced in 1996 but yeah they were still kind of ahead considering it was in 2005 that f22s was finally introduced or entered in service. the game's setting is in the near future anyway so it consists of units of current times and the near future. drones and laser weaponry are some of the good examples.
