1 meal will get you through 2 days, a case holds 12 meals... so that's 24 days of food. If you eat more then 1 meal... hope you exercise a lot because they are 4000 calories a pop.

Those are boxes of MRE "military food" which are meals ready to eat. Each box has 18 package and one package provides enough nutrients for 1 day. So its good for 18 days or food per person or a week of food for 3 people which is better than nothing

Yeah they are probably the civilian variant "disaster relief" type emergency MRE but yeah basically the same thing same proportions. Each MRE provides 1200-1500 calories not sure about the emergency ration variant but probably about the same

@@donut7907 Thats their problem. If they don't like it they can feed it to their livestock or go fishing with it as bait. They have an entire huge coastline for fishing. They are lucky we work so much and gave them anything. We eat pork and chicken because it is so cheap to raise. We don't have a lot of money Yea, I know they love lamb and goat, we love lamb too. But those meats are expensive to raise, and the standard of living in the USA doesn't support that sort of excess even with BOTH adults working full time. I know they can buy that with only ONE adult working, but in the USA we don't have that high standard of living for such luxuries. So they should just be happy with what they are given and find a use for it. Also, starving people will eat anything. Spiders, other people, worms etc. If they aren't starving than they won't eat it. If they are starving they will eat anything.

@donut7907 no they dont. There are 18 different MRE meals only like 5 or 6 of them have pig product. Also the civilian emergency ones they make are Halal and Kosher.
