Also for Indian public rhe conservatives are more likely to accept Indian Hindu rather than a liberal. For example in UK it is not rhe labour (equivalant of democrat) but conservative (equivalent of Republicans) which has an Hindu PM.

Conservatism is based on Christianity. Hence the name conservative. They only believe in one God only. They will never accept any religion. The concept of secularism, accepting immigrants, respecting other religion and culture is not found in conservatism.

Let me name you democrats - Current congresspersons Tulsi Gabbard, Ro Khanna, Raja Krishnamoorthi. and Pramila Jayapal. Ex governor of LA - Piyush (Bobby) Jindal. Current VP Kamala Harris is half Indian. too. The list is very long for democratic party Indians.

There is no catch 22 situation. On one side there is career public prosecutor turned politician on other side there is business family kid who decived his customers, voilated all laws of bankruptcy to avoid paying government taxes, conneed people with fake university... convicted of multiple felony charges. People can vote for whoever they think will promise them better life per thier principles in life. But also think who you wznt your kids to look up as an ideal in life. It's personal choice. But there is no catch 22 situation. One has to know who they are as a person and what values do they care for thier kids in a society.
