There are few things that the world has to know: 1. Taiwan (official name Republic of China 🇹🇼) will never be able to truly break away from One-China, because the government in Taiwan is in fact the government in exile of China, as they once had the representation rights over China. 2. Trump administration may not be openly supportive towards Taiwan but they are better at containing the PRC, which means chances of war taking place by the end of decade is lower. However if PRC keeps its current momentum going, a reunification may take place regardless 3. The world was indeed much more peaceful when Trump was in charge.

Not only that, but we can ask if China is even a real country. ROC (Taiwan) was established in 1912 based on traditional Chinese culture. PRC (China) was established in 1949 based on imported foreign ideas, and the government there has never been elected.
