US planes have frequently flown much closer to China. You have to explain to me why it is okay for the US to do it in China's front yards, but somehow it is not okay for China to do the same in US back yards. This is tik for tok, and it is all fair game. You should expect more such flights from China in the future... because China is just getting started.
