We had some old jets that we could climb on as well. Allthough not nearly as impressive as the B-52s, but it was still good fun! I guess too many people nowadays and they would just ruin everything and cover it with their trash. :/

At Cherry Point when we had Eagles taking off (which was pretty rare, there were never any stationed there as it’s a Marine Corps base) they’d set off the car alarms in the parking lot. To give you an idea of the rough distances involved, you can look at MCAS CP on Google Maps. There’s one runway that is bordered mostly by forests save for the rifle range and some more remote establishments, and another which has most of the base on the left side from the viewpoint of the departing pilot - not to mention a good deal of it on the right side in between the two. You’ll see some parking lots off to the side of the road that runs beside that runway. The cars parked there were the ones that had their alarms tripped by the force of these F-15 takeoffs. Mind you, these weren’t causing sonic booms or anything, they were just putting out a LOT of power.

South Koreans did good they bought a good ass fighter that will fuck up anything. Japan on the other hand I have no idea why they have F-4s if the F-15 is better at fighting other jets and F-16 being a better multi-role

Bunkers for what? They aren't right on the front lines of the battlefield and there's no such thing as a invincible bunker. There are bombs that can penetrate every bunker known to man
