Air Traffic asked the Blackhawk if it saw the inbound jet. The Blackhawk pilot said they did. The Blackhawk was told to go behind the American Eagle inbound. 18 seconds later, the collision occurred. The pilots of American Eagle weren't warned about the Blackhawk. Sky News Australia was reporting this.

NTSB investigate the subject CNN interviewed a husband who texted his wife who was on the airplane. I am sorry for his loss. However, how many times have passengers been told upon boarding to turn their cell phones off or to airplane mode. You cannot engage in texting messages and providing your ETA when on airplane mode. Electronics, specifically cell phones interfere with navigational systems.

😢😢OMGoodness!! Prayers for this souls onboard and their entire family. I was up awake and watching the news when the huge DC9 hit the bridge on the Potomac and watched the first responders and even people who survived the crash, help others to get up and on the ice so they could be saved. I remember the firefighter who just jumped into the water from the shore to save a woman who was going under. Of course this is different because it is a midair collision. So far none of the news broadcasts have sad an amount or survivors, not even one. May the wings of the angels wrap their families in comfort.❤
