@@dylanjones576 I had the husky 80 with the hutch and locker and really liked it but liked the drawer layout of the USG’s much more and didn’t want soft close. So whenever they come out with a hutch it’ll make my setup 10x better.

Thanks for the shout out JD.and I F'ed up. That $389.99 was a best guess. I went to a distant store yesterday to look at it in person. The price is $799.99. It is not scheduled to go on the floor in June. So far all stores that have it have it in black. I think that they may be a order item. Colors appear to be black, red, orange, yellow all with black trim. I didn't see blue or white. I apologize immensely for the price gaff bro.

Very nice. Glad to finally see a picture of it. Thanks brother. And I agree the price is great. Just a little over 100 more than the 5 drawer. It's definitely going to be a great addition if that's the price point. I see many others commenting that it's double that price. If so that is definitely going to hurt them in sales. I don't think many people will pick it up for 800 but 400 they will sell like crazy.

When I first started working on cars 15 years ago, Harbor Freight Tool box was the thing to get. Started with a HF 44'', out grew that and bought another HF 44'' outgrew both. Bought a HF 56'' eventually out grew that and bought another HF 56''. Sold both HF 44" dirt cheap. Even with two HF 56'' outgrew that. Bought Snap On Slip Top Tool Cart, Bought 56'' Snap On KRL Classic. Sold both HF 56'' dirt cheap. Never went with the 72'' from any brand, instead skip and went to a Snap On Eqip 84'' LOVE IT TO DEATH. Push my 56'' Snap On KRL Classics daily working all types of vehicles. Leave the Snap On Epiq 84'' in the corner looking fresh. Keep the Snap on Split Top Tool Cart at the house. Kept the 56'' and 84'' at the shop. If you got the funds, a REAL PROFESSIONAL working 80-90 hours at a shop or running a shop, lead tech, only tech, best advise go BIG. You will outgrow these boxes from HF. 84'' or Mr. Big.

today makes 3 yrs in the industry. I've ben working with hf 26 in tool box top and bottom for 3 years. And I've ben thinking a looking around for a tool box upgrade. So my options are getting this new hf tool cart 34 inch. Then later on upgrading into 56inch or 72inch tool box. So what im trying to say its waiting its the key

They would've sold like hot cakes past couple years. Now inflation is starting to hurt people's wallets. I put 200+ miles per day on my car, and my wallet is feeling it. My kids are moving out and my grocery bill is increasing LOL I'm sure they're still gonna sell good. I've been very impressed with my HF boxes

The problem I have with that style of box is that the lid falls under the law of horizontal surfaces. The top will end up so full you can’t shut it or once you do shut it crap will pile up and you’ll never be able to open it. A slide top would have been a better deal.

@@andybub45 those are made by Rousseau in Canada. They are the same company that makes the storage for most of the dealership parts departments, special tools and a lot of the built in toolboxes in dealerships and industrial places. Those are high end carts, as are the boxes.

Our dealership has those built in boxes, and a lot of the techs have brought their own box or roll cart. One of them doesn’t have a separate roll cart, and he says the built in box he has is garbage. Falling apart and everything.

My last cart was a slide top, swore i’d never get one again. Not that it was a bad design, mechanically, but when open the cart is 7 feet long or seems like it and nobody could get past it. I couldn’t keep my sockets in the top because i’d have to open the slide each time to grab one, keeping it closed for everyone else because of it’s size. Not sure if you have one already, or work in a big shop, just my thoughts on it.
