Are the LEDs in the end locker battery powered or do they plug into the wall? I just got an end locker for mine a few months ago, and interior lighting is what it's missing. I'm kind of jealous about the "admin area" too. I have the 56" top and bottom, and really mulled over the idea of upgrading to the 76" bottom so I could have some workspace along with the extra tool storage. In the end I decided to go with the new full bank cart to house my most used tools, and it freed up a surprising amount of space in the big box.

Are those locker lights battery operated? Are they mounted in the back and front of the cabinet or is that a reflection?

That is definitely a reflection that you are seeing in the back. They are 120v sticky LED strip lights with an inline switch. They were less than $20 on Amazon. They are mounted in the front lip right beside the door frame. Thank you for watching.

I’ve got the blue 56” top and bottom, I got it to replace a full Husky 36” x 24.5” top and bottom and have mixed feelings. I don’t feel like I gained much USABLE space. I would trade two of the shallow drawers in each bank for one full length on the roller cabinet. I’d actually like one less long drawer in the upper for more depth and split the deep drawer in the narrow bank for all shallows. I also feel like I lost a fair amount of space front to rear on top of the fact that the drawers opened all the way out on the old one. The last thing I didn’t think I would miss is the large storage area and power strip on top that the Husky (Montezuma rebrand like Craftsman and Kobalt) had even though I never liked the shape of the lid. Now I did pick up a little real estate with the bottom drawer and aesthetically it’s dynamite. The Montezuma or Ryobi rebranded battery tool racks bolt up the the handle holes on the top box and a Uline locker bolted right up where a side cabinet would have gone on the bottom. I plan to get a side locker for one side and possibly double side cabinets on the other. I love your setup, I’d need two side cabinets and a custom countertop to create that workspace yours has on the left hand side.

Just bought the 56” bottom and top. They had the bottom in stock because a customer decided not to go through with the deal, but have to wait till next Tuesday for the top. Mine is red.👍

I added in a 5/16” nut to the drawer lock to hold it open. Works great and it’s cheap.

I've had the 72 for a year, and 'm waiting on the delivery of the end locker and end cabinet for a similar setup. The 56" top chest looks pretty sharp and I love how you still maintain a little worktop on the left. I might find myself with a similar setup once I fill all the new space. Thanks for the inspiration and the review. Shame about the bottoms not lining up, but now I can get over that ahead of time, rather than deal with the surprise.

The side cabinet and lockers are made to fit the 44" box perfect. The 72 and 56 both have the gaps at the bottom. The side cabinet uses the same drawer latches as the 44 box.

It probably doesn’t come down all the way for ingress and egress entering or exiting a place with a slight slope . Kind of like they do with 4x4 vehicles for approach on a hill

From what I understand. They are in the process of making some updates to the side locker. None out there for now. New model coming soon.

Actually...I just RTFM and it looks like the door can be swapped to either side and the cabinet can be mounted to either side allowing for a reversed setup.

Awesome setup in the same color I plan to get. I like the idea of using the top of the bottom box as a work bench so no top cabinet for me as I think the bottom box will hold all my tools. Too bad HF discontinued the side locker at the end of last year.

Hello Dan, Here is a breakdown for you. Unfortunately the side locker is not available currently from HF. I was told that they are making some changes to it and it should be out soon. The prices I paid are as follows. Please keep in mind that I purchased some of these items with 20% off and 10% off coupons in addition to their being a price increase in the last few months. Thank you for watching. The LED lights came from Amazon. I ordered the sticky strip lights with an included switch. They seem to work out really well. The box is amazing and holding up extremely well with no issues. The drawers are loaded down and glide real smooth. Hope this helps.

Look at the gen 3 lockers coming later this year, i think they have black trim but they are selling titanium and chrome kits. The gen 3 locker is the same height as the 56/72 full box/cabinet.

I got it from Amazon. It’s pretty cheap actually. Look up “wire loom harness adhesive cloth fabric tape 3/4” wide”. Just make sure you get enough extra length for mistakes and redos. 3/4” wide is perfect to fit in the channel. Thank you for watching.

I have a similar set up with the 56, and the match up is ok, but considering that those add on's were only meant to be with the 44 inch group before the 56 and 72 were ever invented. I had those sets with the old crinkle red paint like 18 years ago and they made the craftsman set look really pitiful.
