US Hard Enduro Moab Sundays Main Event

This was the main race day for the 2024 Moab Hard Enduro. It was 6hrs or 3 laps. I started out slow and my goal was to just ride clean and save my energy and get one lap. But as racing goes that didn’t happen. I dumped my bike over right before check point 3 and broke the water pump. I loved the event and hope to try again next year.

Awesome! Semper fi, It has to be painful to watch. I felt like it was a let down to be out of the race so early. But that’s racing and I think thats why hard enduro guys keep coming back. The challenge is the reward

Looking back I may have got a better seal if I took off the skid plate and got it wrapped all the way around the water pump. But it was what it was. I still rode it back to my rig and I’m hoping she wasn’t hurt

Where exactly is this at in Moab? I just rode down there for the first time ever and I'm hooked!

The race took place in Spanish valley, which is about 15 mins south of Moab, on private off-road area called BFE. It’s Open to ride but you have to buy a pass through their BFE website. For the hard enduro race our pass was included with the race sign up.

Do you have a rekluse clutch on your bike? If so, how do you like it? Great vids, by the way.

I run just the standard clutch basket. No rekluse auto clutch. I did put a hydraulic clutch lever from magura and I’ve also taken out 2 springs from the clutch basket. I use the clutch a lot especially being a 450 in tech situations you have to use the clutch a lot and so far I’ve had no issues. It pulls strong and feathers no problem. I do change the oil about every 6 hrs
