US: Israel Accepts Proposal for Truce Deal With Hamas | Vantage with Palki Sharma
The U.S. has said that Israel has accepted a proposal for a truce deal with Hamas. Top U.S. diplomat Antony Blinken has urged Hamas to accept the peace deal. Meanwhile, Blinken is travelling to Egypt and Qatar as the truce talks gained momentum. Both Egypt and Qatar have been working with the U.S. to broker a truce in the 10-month long Gaza conflict. “In a very constructive meeting with PM (Benjamin) Netanyahu today, he confirmed to me that Israel supports the bridging proposal," Blinken told the media.
