Don't take it as gospel, there are numerous roles, operational considerations, equipment available, individual preferences, duration of operation, and much more that go into consideration when you're setting up your gear for a mission or operation. There is no such thing as a one size fits all setup, the things you would take on a raid are not the same things you would take on a long distance reconnaissance mission. Hope this helps cut through some shortcomings and paints a better picture to just how in depth you have to think and trained your service members really are.

chest seals are important for combat guys. if you get a perferated lung its called "a sucking chest wound" for a reason. need a barrier to stop sucking in air that isnt filtered, and properly oxygenated through normal pathways into the airsacks of your lungs, so the hole is patched, but you dont want more co2 than u should have or fluid in yor lungs so you dont drown or pass out on your own lungs from a shot. so there are bandages and then there ar e chest wound bandages, which allow fluid and some air out but prevent dirty air from going in.

Crazy how pale people have to wear face paint. I know the melanated ones wear it, too, but melanated don't necessarily have to wear it. Our melanin already camouflages us with the jungle, especially the darker our skin is. However, even us guys with the lighter melanin are still camouflaged with the jungle. There's always something in the jungle or the woods that matches most melanin complexions, except for maybe the super high yellow folks who are closer to pale folks complexion. Nonetheless, when I go in the woods, I match the scenery. So, if I have on camouflage colors, you won't see me with or without face paint, and even more with the dark skinned folks!

It's the ignorant people who want to do evil, that do not need to know what the opposing good force has head to toe. Imo it should be a well kept secret. If we get new bulletproof pants for example, they should not know that, so that it works in favor of the good force. FYI it's very common bad guys aim for legs on purpose.

The integration for C⁴ISR is what is deployed today unless you are just a grunt guarding a gate, in which case you most likely wouldn't be using an EUD. Remember that some of us well trained "civilians" are better setup and kitted with more than most of those in special operations.
