It always gives me chills watching these young men and women! My two sons are proudly serving in the Marines, USNA Class of 2009 and 2013. So very proud of them! Thank you all for your service!

As we commemorate the 80th Anniversary of D-Day, I am even more mindful of the sacrifices made by the marines and others who landed on those treacherous beaches. Watching today’s men and women, an unbroken legacy of excellence, inspires me to be a citizen worthy of their sacrifices. As the daughter of a WWII wounded veteran -who enlisted at 17 and has departed this good green earth- I never, ever will take our Armed Forces and the stability that they provide our Democracy for granted. May each one participating in this awe inspiring display, be kept safe from harm. May we all strive to be the best, most compassionate citizens that we can be in order to be worthy of their service to our democratic nation.

All of these young men and women will forever know that their lives contributed to something bigger then themselves. They will never have to ask if their lives meant anything or if they had purpose. The Marine Corps lives forever, which means every Marine who has lived or died, lives forever, in our hearts. Semper Fi. 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

Great vantage point and smooth, non shaky camera views. Very seamless editing, I’m liking this. Our Marine Corps Silent Drill Team are the BEST! What a great way to showcase our excellence.

What a stupid comment. Guess you don't know any US Marines. Suffice to say Americans are tired of sending our young men to foreign countries to fight and die. Especially when those countries don't appreciate their sacrifice. You want to fight in Ukraine. Be our guest.

These are all infanty Marines that are just assigned to ceremonial duties while serving in D.C. They are fully trained combat Marines and during the off season they continue to train as infantry Marines. All of these Marines have either come from regular infantry units that have been deployed overseas or will eventually leave D.C, to a unit that will most likely be deployed overseas at some point.
