We the Australian people we want this craft officially designated as “Counteroffensive Unique Naval Transit Ships”. Primarily because it will assist naval personnel deliver concise and clearly understood commands during the heat of battle when they yell “send those Counteroffensive Unique Naval Transit Ships over there” … or words to that effect.

@@frank-ko6de We are all so grateful for your knowledge and experienced-based analysis. All those thousands of hours testing it by you has allowed you to reach such a definitive conclusion. @frank-ko6de

@WinterBornActual They may have tested it in a very determined environment, but have they tested in an environment similar to where the next wars will be based....? You can run your tests in a predictable fashion all you want, but the reality is war and conflict is never predictable. In the case of this boat, how does it adept to this unpredictability and how does it manage to not only adapt, but to adapt, thrive, and even overcome such adversity....???? You are welcome to be defensive, but I could really care less. It's because of your foul technology, that we had to to decommissioned so many of the Freedom class boats built by Austal, an Australian company. Meanwhile all Independence class boats, built by Lockheed Martin, with their tri- maran hills are working perfectly well and even exceeding expectations. Why the U.S. would trust a country that doesn't even build their own ships, which are all foreign built is beyond. That money should have been given to Lockheed Martin, which has a clearly effective product of the two ship classes. It was simply a money grab given to a very incompetent, impotent corrupt nation, it was essentially thievery at the expense of the tax payers, all the while corrupting and compromising our force structure. Department of Defense should have learned their lessons from before, but here we are trying to trust a proven nonsense incompetent company from a nonsense impotent corrupt nation. I could really care how you feel, I care about the strength of my nation by compromised by nonsense nations trying to pose as our friends while compromising our defense. You are welcomed to keep your boats, perhaps that could be a means to help you work on your nonsense non existent defense industry.

Hi Garry, not sure if you know how these things work, and I don't blame you either. There's plenty of Naval Warfare exhibitions globally where various shipyards present their ships and make deals. Most of the items are listed aka Technical Specifications. The Russians used to participate and the Chinese still do. Unlike Airshows that also have their open days, the Naval & Land based ones are NOT OPEN to the public. There's also magazines - printed media - that detail the basics and go in to some details. This video is the same. It is not an in-depth but only glosses over the basics. I hope that you and many others have learned something. And yes, I am an "analyst" & love keeping myself up-to-date with a lot of things including the electronics.

Ever been behind a missile when it launched ..... Liar . Without a soft launch you'd be dead so that intro was pretty BS though there's more of those types now then just a few years ago

I suggest you watch the video again. They pack an enormous punch with their varied systems and are very stealthy. They can also move faster than larger littoral vessels and that gives them tremendous advantages. Add to that the fact that compared to purchasing a frigate they are as cheap as chips.

Sorry sports but this is a deeply unimpressive display. These craft are expertly designed to fight WWII. The biggest question: why on Earth are they putting hot human bodies onto a platform when, with just a bit of Ukraine-style ingenuity, all of this 'reconnaisance' could be done with autonomous drones flying from an autonomous craft which sits invisibly *IN* the surface clutter, too low for radar to detect and too shallow for sonar? Score: 0, must try harder.🤨
