Try and edge your way into the spotlight much...... and don't take that shot away from him, that was pure badassness. Sure most people take 'guess shots' when they think they see someone... but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you haven't landed a shot quiiiiite as nice as that one?- In 2-3 bullets, he was able to find the general direction, scope in, to notice the bump to begin with, then his lightning reaction time to react to the tiny shaded head confidently and then finally landing the shot. When you talk about "shooting something your unsure of"- 99% of those cases you at least know the area to look at and THEN you think you see something- not in the heat of the moment after getting fired at and could be ANYWHERE and you're without cover! Do you have self-esteem issues? You seem to have that "can't let anyone have nothin" trait.

Well, you didn't say anything 'nice'. "turned out to be an enemy" where do you EVER see Karmakut shoot at nothing? It's practically non-existent, when he shoots it's cause he sees something. It did not "turn out to be" like it was so highly improbable and was just plain luck. All your vids are mini 30 second clips of okay to decent clips that 3/4 of the gaming population could make inside a window of a week per clip. And battle royale games- fucking BARF. You only have one relevant video (squad) and is of soldiers dancing? Besides, It's not just about reaction times and precision, that's just half of hit. Okay so you see your target and are good at lining the shot.. you'd still first have to find your target which is another skill or in this instance- finding where the bullet came from through sound, what about confidence? Like I said, without cover, already had been shot at, damn enemy could've been anywhere- some people at this point would of dumped their weight back into their chair/take their hands off the keyboards but he just went to work like a robot. There's no changing your mind because your ego won't let you admit that you came off as downplaying him (and was). Bye coward.

I wish they would add a bolt-action sniper rifle such as an M40A3. The addition would be nice. Extra FOV, extra zoom, improved scope/reticle, maybe more damage, and better precision. BUT, it would have a longer reload, lower magazine capacity, and obviously would cycle through its rounds slower... maybe even a slightly slower aim. Yet it would grant players with a legit long distance sniping role.

AhmadS xx Don't use post processing AA. The only good one is SMAA. But if you want the clearest possible image, use MSAA if your rig can handle it.

Justin Ivler kinda. most players go for the kills rather than teamplay so they prefer high mag scopes. I being a team player always take role that SL telling me to take. AT, 2nd medic, scout sometimes

You should not play marksman and marksman should be removed from the game. Every other fire support role is more important than marksman, and some accomplish the same thing as a marksman but they do it better. There is no excuse to play marksman under any circumstance, unless of course you are not playing to win and don't care about your personal contribution to your squad and team's effectiveness. You can contribute as a marksman, but you are contributing less than you would with ANY other role in the game. Against an enemy with no armor, its better to have a scoped(or not) gpmg and lmg, and a grenadier. Against an armored enemy its better to have 2 lats, and a gunner or grenadier. Marksman has no place. The only possible thing that would be a compromise and not ideal, would be to put the marksman in the rifleman section so it doesn't waste a firesupport role. Even then you would just be an optic rifleman that does more damage per hit and useless at close range. Also kills do not matter in squad. I have lost count of how many games I have won where the enemy had 50-100 more kills than our team. The intro to this video is THE arguement against marksman by the way.

Meowsiph Stalin You can do the exact same thing but more effectively with an lmg, gpmg, or an optic rifleman. Instead of being a nuicence and taking pot shots at the enemy accomplishing jack shit, you could have a gpmg and actually kill the enemy and pin them down. I have never in my 700 hours been pinned by a marksman because they cannot shoot automatic. In the exact same situations though a gpmg can pin and actually kill an entire squad. On a side note. The marksman kit is a magnet for little kids, no mics, and lonewolfs which should tell you a lot about it by who it appeals to. Even in the rare situation where the marksman who is someone who is serious, they could be doing the same exact thing but better with another class, and not wasting one of only 3 fire support roles.

Its great for just getting a few kills from a distance, but that's irrelevant in squad. Even if kills mattered, a scoped lmg or gpmg would have been more effective in his situation. So the marksman can get a few kills, and be less effective at long range than other options, and up close they either unload their whole mag from the hip and not hit jack shit, or pull out their pistol and get cut down by the guy with an assault rifle shooting full auto.

Endsieg Respectfully, I disagree. There didn't seem to be any disadvantage there. The whole point of the Marksman is to take out targets with high precision shots when they are pinned down by a higher volume of less accurate fire and taking cover. Every kill the marksman gets is one less source of fire for his squad to worry about, so it helps the squad just as much as if any other guy shot him. Had he not dropped those targets, some of his squad could have been taken out instead, and their push or defense defeated.

My argument is not that the marksman is useless, its that the other fire support roles are more useful than marksman. If there were unlimited fire support roles, or if the marksman was in the regular squad member section, it might be alright to have one in your squad. As it is right now though, it always better to have either two LATs and a grenadier or gunner, or two gunners and a grenadier. Those people he killed moving up on fortress could have been killed by any other class, especially at that range. He just happened to be a marksman. So as a marksman he killed them just as any other class would, except that the other classes give your squad a grenade launcher, automatic weapon with a scope, or the ability to take out vehicles while the marksman does none of those things.
