Wow!! This was my most enlightening podcast of yours that I’ve listened to so far!!! Robert Gilbert. I’ve never heard of him. I’ve heard the word Rosacrucian in my 69 yrs but it went into the neverneverland area of my brain. Every time you say “I’m a recovering Catholic” it makes me giggle! I call myself a Cafeteria Catholic. I LOVE POMP and circumstance, the Knights of Columbus, beautiful ornate Catholic Churches and Catholic Folk Group Music! But I’ve always believed in reincarnation, feeling uncomfortable giving my power to someone else and telling my confession to a priest. And the movie SPOTLIGHT validated whispers I’ve heard my entire life. My brother, myself, my cousins went K-12 Catholic school. I believe organized religion is a means of controlling the populace. Us humans don’t need that or government yet here we are!!! My husband and I raised our two daughters Catholic and our daughters are raising our 4 grand children Catholic. But we all do it because of a fun tradition that goes back to the 16th century that we know of, probably farther back. I want to help my family and myself become spiritually awakened . I got more books to read after listening to this podcast!!! The New World, Dolores Cannon, Third Eye talks scare me to be honest!!! But I really am trying to educate myself so when I die I’m going to know what’s happening!!! I don’t want to keep repeating this spiritual plane that I’m on. Does this make sense?

My grandfather started studying Rosicrucian teachings in the early 1920's and continued for the next sixty years of his life. He was able to levitate objects and travel out of his body. His work often required him to travel long distances, but there were no cell phones back then, even landline phones weren't always available, so he would mentally tell my grandmother when to expect him to come home. She always got the message and would have dinner ready for him.

He explained it in the first three and half minutes. Rosicrucian taught independent spirituality. It is the absolute truth. God is in each one of us. But those who need our money and labor and mind want us to believe they have to be in between us and God, who is in us already. They designed school systems to train us early on to listen and remember their 'experts' rules and ideas, and this continues for the rest of our lives. Sometimes during these years, we stop listen to ourselves, or the God within - our conscious, our intuition, our know-all - they cease to exist. Many people find solace and peace when they are alone in nature because they are in touch with themselves again.

Alex, thank you. Yesterday I watched your show on Theosophical Society and today Rosicrucians. Everything your guests said makes sense to me and are what I believe. I've always felt like an octagonal peg trying to fit into round holes here and there. And now at age 67 these jigsaw puzzles pieces have completed the picture for me and I've found my spiritual thought groups through your channel. It's interesting that when I was very young I found a small ad in a newspaper or magazine of my parent's to send away for a Rosicrucian pamphlet. And I did, and I wish I could have understood the concepts back then. What an interesting life that would have created for me. I'm a seventh level Rosicrucian. I reached that level several years ago and do not intend, for now, to proceed further. I believe I actually acquired the necessary spiritual mindset and discipline after the first four degrees. I strongly believe in the Rosicrucian movement's initial tradition of direct connection to our spiritual higher self without external human intermediary or control system. This is all that really matters, to me at least.

My mom was a Rosicrucianist and I was born and grew up in my early years surrounded by these teaching, albeit via an organization. Healing hands sessions were a regular and natural occurence growing up. Also read many esoteric and spiritual works due to this. Robert Gilbert is great. Through his teachings I heard of Steiner and Daskalos. I wonder wether Robert is the reincarnation of Steiner. While he was still alive Steiner said that many of his students would reincarnate around 1950 to help spirituality develop and save humanity. After his death, Steiner reached clairvoyantly three of his students sending to them the same message that he too would comeback again on earth when humanity was more ready to receive his teachings.

I'm so glad Dr. Gilbert clarified his perspective on Rosicrucianism, that the organization inherently loses some of its clarity when it sets up the hierarchy like in the Freemasons. I looked into Rosicrusianism years ago but had concern on how the power harnessed by the practices could be used for some darker purposes. The connection to the Divine does not require the approval of any man-made structure. Human beings can hijack even the best concepts if they lack integrity.

I absolutely LOVED this episode. I’ve read some of Rudolf Steiner’s books and love the perspective of the Rosicrucians, that was until I started reading material which made it appear to be another ‘secret society’ where one has to have ‘exclusive membership’. Jesus said never to swear an Oath to either Heaven or Earth. It is my belief that once one becomes part of an established group, you are subject to and limited to the mindset and the ideas OF that group. There’s a level of conformity that must occur which could hinder an individuals personal growth and the will of God. I’m thrilled that this concern of mine was addressed in this video. I’m reading Peter Kingsley’s “Catafalque” right now which is essentially a cry to go against modernity and look at the spiritual reality. It distills Carl Jung’s life’s work for what it really was which was not a psychological theory but rather a spiritual religion for the individual. It’s written almost like an incantation and has caused me to have so many visions during deep meditations where I access my real inner depths. The hardest part has been precisely what Robert says in the beginning, it feels like it goes against all my rational aspects of mind that have been produced by modern culture. It’s one thing to believe in a soul and have some psychedelic or meditative experiences but when you go deep it’s so unreal that it makes you feel like you’re insane… and yet you know you’re not.

Fascinating. Being more enlightened every day and I love where these podcasts are taking me as if I can go out of the 3rd density anytime I want, in fact I do it it more than I realize!! My cousin moved to Israel when he was younger and became Jewish. We are both sons of Baptist preachers. He has told me that reincarnation is an accepted fact and taught in Judaism today. (I left the Southern Baptist cult long ago, and have believed in reincarnation since childhood.)
