I have a worn Buffalo nickel that had no date, so I learned on UTUBE about this solution that you can buy on Amazon, so I ordered it on Amazon and I applied it to my worn out Buffalo nickel and the date was revealed 1916. Question: Now that date was finally revealed, does it make the coin worthless?

There’s a 1916 buffalo nickel that has doubling on the front. You can see it in the Indian feathers, and that coin without a visible date with the doubling feature, which only occurred in 1916, still worth almost $1000. Until you put Nic a date on it - worth about $.20.

Somewhere I came up with an undated 5-cent US coin. It is about an inch across and has a buffalo and "E Plurbus Unum"on one side. The other side has a male and female in indian clothing wearing feathers and a title of "St. Labre Indian School Since 1884." Is this a real US coin? Does it have any value?

I use a product called ‘Nic-a-date”. It helps to bring out the date on most dateless nickel. But it will be considered damaged after that. People who buy old buffalo nickels yo use in jewelry don’t like nic a dated coins
