As someone who has the premium plan and sees it as necessary to port often commuting within the NYC area, my line often falls into a dark hole when trying to port to dark star. sometimes i'll have to wait up to 2 full days in order for the port to complete while porting over to GSM and Warp take less than 7 minutes each.

My husband has heard that Dark Star has had some issues, especially with iPhones, hopefully they get that fixed soon. Thankfully there hasn’t been issues with Warp and Lightspeed.

The thumbnail image shows wording, "Is it the best choice?" I would say it is one of the very few best choices. Both US Mobile and Tello look very very good to me. Both of these carrier operators include some low-priced plans.

After my wife was on straight talk for years and having nothing but problems, I switched her to US Mobile on warp and it’s cheaper and so much better

I have US Mobile but can't call or receive calls. The tech chat was like talking to a wall, they wanted me to delete everything and I even got a new phone and it didn't work either , so my recommendation is its not to use this service.I was using the dark star for 20 days and then the phone didn't ring call .

Overall it was pretty easy. The only hiccups were due to my husband making a couple of mistakes. He accidentally mixed up the EMEI numbers between two of our lines and a glitch with his Visible eSIM. Tech support remedied these issues very quickly. The one line he didn’t make a mistake on took only a few minutes to complete the entire process.

They don’t have any true family plans. However, they do have a couple of perks to choose from if you sign up 3 lines on unlimited premium at the monthly rate. They also have sharable data where you pick the number of lines and how much data you want, if your family doesn’t use a lot of data.

If user is a very light cellular-data user, then US Mobile can be at lower price than MINT Mobile. Currently US M. has a $10 per month plan, unlim. Talk&Text and 2 GB of data.

Have US Mobile on the T Mobile side as it gives the best signal here where I live. Am very satisfied and customer service is top notch. For me, anyway.

Yes, with the Unlimited Starter plan it’s $2 to switch between networks after 2 changes. So if you start with the Warp network and switch to Light Speed it’s free. If you decide to switch to Dark Star for example it will cost you $2. If you have the Unlimited Premium you have unlimited switching between networks.

So, in your opinion, you think US Mobile is better than Visible? I ask because I live in NYC and the Verizon network works best here so between Visible and Verizon on US Mobile, who do you suggest?

In my opinion, US mobile would be the better choice. The unlimited starter plan has 35 GB of priority data for $25/ month or $270 a year. This plan gives you access to the UW bands for better speeds but Visible requires you to sign up for the $45/mo plan.

@@charlesdale1428US Mobile is also given priority access (if you are using a 5g capable phone) on the Verizon Network. Visible also uses Verizon network but is deprioritized. And in the NYC area that’s a huge advantage for US Mobile users over Visible users

I heard all three were priority data on unlimited with US cellular until you use up your allotment of 35gb. Im on mint now have been for yrs its always been great but they are no longer the best deals in mvno unfortunately. Im paying by the year too! They need to get more competitive. Also many of these mvno include tax and fees paid in the price shown but mint charges tax and fees on top. I do get 40gb instead of 35gm with mint but its also $30 a month when I pay the year upfront. I believe US mobile is $22.50 monthly if paid for a yr upfront.

They all have premium data, access to all cellular bands, but only Warp has priority data right out of the box. The Dark Star network has the ability to pay extra for it, whereas Light Speed doesn’t offer that option. All of them get slowed down after your high speed data cap. The pricing really is in favor of US Mobile and the ability to swap carrier networks is a real bonus.
