It's very simple what happened. The air traffic controller said to the helicopter. Pat25 do you have a CRJ in sight? They said yes because they were looking at the one taking off and then five seconds later they cut off the one landing. The controller should've said do you see the CRJ to the left on final for 33 and this never would've happened.

In the very first press release news conference in D.C. about the Potomac an Asian journalist asked what measures have been implemented so this wouldn't happen again...this rings alarm bells the question seemed so odd at the time and more of a threat I commented at the time but if anyone from fox news reads this post please investigate further I commented at the time of hearing the question but need to re iterated point. IMO a foreign nation wants US to buy a technology to manage the skies better, my guess would be that this technology would allow a foreign nation to monitor and potentially be able to control your air traffic in the future please look into this.

The helicopter intentionally hit that plane it's obvious by the video there's only two feasible reasons why that happened either the pilot lost control because the helicopter was being controlled remotely or the pilot was radicalized.

Can anyone tell me if it is normal for military aircraft to fly in commercial airspace at a civilian airport? I thought military ac were supposed to be in military base airports only. I'm confused why a Blackhawk was flying in a commercial airports airspace. Near runways.

I am no expert on this, but I did see a couple of news clips yesterday where both said this is nothing out of the ordinary, particularly at Reagan Airport. They said there can be dozens of military helicopters flying low near the Capital. I don't know if that's accurate, just saying what I heard.
