Nice footage of the Blue Angles from the 1960s. Thanks for sharing! I got to witness the Blue Angles flying the Grumman F-11 Tiger at Glenview Naval Air Station (Glenview, IL) as a 9-year-old kid in the summer of 1967. They also had their #8 Super Constellation support aircraft as seen here and the Royal Air Force had flown in one of their Avro Vulcan bombers for display at the airshow. Terrific memories!

The Navy Blue Angels Connie at the start of the video is just gorgeous. Towards the end of the video the shadow of the plane seen (and the plane landing) is a T-38 Talon. The United States Air Force Thunderbirds used them starting around 1974 until the very early 90s if I remember right.

Nice visuals, but the audio detracts massively. It's not really great to begin with, and it's not period correct. But, super nice to see the beautiful Grumman Tiger in the Blue Angels colors on film/vid here.

Hi, I investigated but I was not able to identify the Airfield so it will be great if someone can do that. Based on the visible planes and their service years I resumed the video was shot in 1968 or 1969.

That's Miramar. The shots at the end were over a different area. You could see the shadow of a T-38.
