Jordan Peele brought the most insane Christmas present with this trailer. I can't wait for this movie. Not only does it look freaking terrifying and crazy, but it looks like Lupita Nyong'o is gonna give one hell of a powerhouse performance. I mean, all the actors probably will, of course, but I'm really looking forward to Lupita's for sure!!

My theory: The crazy-looking family is actually the original family & the family in the car are clones. The original family was tortured & experimented on, that explains the boy’s mouth being scarred, the scissors, the red patient outfits & the cloned rabbits in the lab. The original family managed to escape the lab where they were being experimented on and they are trying to kill the cloned versions of themselves.

Prediction. The mom and the son are dopplegangers from the beginning at the beach when she went looking for the kid. If you notice when they're driving home and the music is playing, both the mom and the son are completely off beat. She looks at the husband knotting his head and copies him but its subtly off. Its like shes copying his behavior and it gets worse when she tries to teach the son. Also when the peoplr in the driveway come, she looks like shes holding the daughter hostage, not protecting her. Her bond with the son is different from the others. I think they are not the original family members

You know, after watching this, I'm wondering if the doppelganger thing is gonna be about dealing with trauma - the way that "recovery" from a traumatic event might not be the end of it, or even that being permanently "scarred" is a thing to embrace. Maybe that's what the symbolism of the scissors is - trying to cut yourself off from a bad time in your life. The doubles are a relic from the family's or Adelaide's past, and are some weird experiment thing but are more importantly metaphors for the memories of something really really bad. It might even be the representation of mental illness - slightly warped versions of the family's selves. Maybe the little boy doesn't like his face, which is why he wears the mask, so his double's face is all burnt up. I don't know.

I think the characters having split personality after comitting a murder which everyone involves. Thier concience was haunting them and thier monster character starting to overcome them. I think this is actual reality of the society now, changing thier personality to adapt each nightmare happen each of us. Look every character contary to monster who is hunting them. The mother has serious personality while her monster is insane and always smile. Thier son was talkative while his conterpart was silent, so as her sister from figure consious while her counter part was figure uncosoius (shaved eyebrows).Lastly the father from funny to strict looking guy. Well its only my hypothesis, whats yours?
