I too find myself near tears during the Olympics. The athletes stories are so inspiring. There’s also the element of pride of being American. To see our flag, hear our anthem and know what that athlete went through to be the best. I have the utmost respect for every participant in the Olympics. 😊✌🏼😎👍🏼

They really are!!! Seeing the dedication they have toward their goals and how so many overcome great odds to get there to be the one in a million is inspiring...

OHMAGOSH Bunny! Best field trip yet. I am an Olympics nerd myself. I lived in SoCal in 1984, what an amazing summer that was! A friend of mine and I left work early to walk into town to see the torch go through. What an amazing experience that was. Later that afternoon same friend and I were headed to a company BBQ. We found ourselves being passed by 100 + motorcycles with US flags and Olympic flags. They were going to meet the torch on this leg, because it was being run by a man who at the time was the president of the local Hells Angels chapter. How's that for inclusive? The Olympics really can bring people together.

Your story sounds awesome also!!! This is why I love having a channel so many people sharing their experiences and it really is awesome to see how we connect different dots!!

Curling is probably the only sport I’d ever have half a chance at placing. Lol!

I’m pretty sure that’s the only one that I would be successful in on the level. That is attainable lol. Oh well as the same time I have no confidence.

When I was younger I really watched and kept up with the Olympics but for some reason life got in the way and I have missed a lot. Thanks for bringing back awesome memories. I do watch Shawn Johnson East on YT with her family. I can remember watching her perform because I loved watching the gymnastics. Of course Ali was an all time favorite. I loved boxing probably because my parents loved it. Thanks Bunny great video.

Those were the days, when sportsmanship meant something. Not so much anymore; it’s all too political today. Used to enjoy the Olympics; especially the artistic sports, such as gymnastics, skating, diving, and ski jumping. Haven’t watched for several years, because the politics of the game took the meaning and fun out of it for me. 🙁 Mary Lou Retton, Nadia Comaneci, and Olga Corbet were my favorites to watch! Those were the days ….

I still very much enjoy the Olympics as a whole. I think that the athleticism that is exhibited is absolutely amazing and the talent that it takes to get to that level is something that is unparalleled. Having worked formerly in sports I know what dedication looks like when it comes to these athletic events and being able to see people, thriving and succeeding in such a way is absolutely something that I’ve you with great regard.
