SWET is a two day course. All branches especially certain Mos' should spend two weeks in water survival even if it is every two years. There is a reason the Corps spends two weeks on the range with the exception of qualifying early a day or two if your firearm is where you want it.

What's even worse is that the pilot and gunner are only able to see in 720p. There was a program to upgrade the pilots to 4k, but it was deemed to expensive.

Я часто езжу на рыбалку под Норфолк Вирджиния, так они там почти каждую ночь тренируют специальные подразделения, неви силл или еще чего то, они прыгают в воду с вертушки а потом взбираются обратно в вертушку по канату ..... одним словом серьезные там у них тренировки.

А зачем лётчикам (военным) тренироваться? Воевать с США и Китаем у них духа, силы и средств не хватит. Вот и воюют со слабым и малочисленным противником (либо в коалиции, как в 1 и 2 мировую или с Наполеоном). Только и могли, как бомбить мирные объекты (больницы, школы) в Афганистане, Сирии, Чечне, Грузии и в Украине.

Это отсталая социалистическая восточная Европа, Куба, Вьетнам и Монголия. Однако почему-то они сейчас не с Россией, а европейцы в Евросоюзе и в НАТО. Сравни Северную Корею, что была под влиянием России и южную, под влиянием миролюбивой Америки, Евросоюза и Турции. И сравни коммунистический Китай при Мао Цзедуне и Китай при реформаторе Дэн Сяопине. И кто ему помог осуществить реформы? Правильно! И это опять не нищая и технологически отсталая Россия, а Великая Америка и Евросоюз. Где сейчас Сербия? Правильно! Она готовится вступить в Евросоюз! И туда им дорога! Чем путь в мордор и быть с ним по уши в дерьме Ну, а то, что не в НАТО, так от того, что живут в благополучной Европе и среди миролюбивых соседей. Одним словом повезло не иметь себе соседа агрессора. Чего не скажешь про Беларусь, Украину Среднею Азию и Казахстан. Ну, а прибалты, так они под защитой НАТО.

Even superdeluxe Apaches weren't enough to get all the Afghan rebels out of a rocky terrain they know as their back yard. Once the Americans leave, still a large portion of them will re-emerge, as if nothing really has changed since centuries. The mess will start all over again, the small political and probably educational achievements will soon be past, and all the blood that was shed by thousands of young folks will have been for nothing. One can not stamp out things that have existed for centuries just like that, apparantly, even if they are wrong, absurd, unfair...
