In all fairness to heroes It's lack of polish was due to Sony holding Sega hostage. Sega originally only wanted it for the GCN and GameCube and built the game around those consoles. But late into development Sony told them to put it on ps2 by it's initial release day or they will do to them what Nintendo did to square when the made ff7 for ps1 forcing them to forgo dev time dedicated to polish to switch to the render ware engine and making sure the game is at the very least playable on ps2.

And this is why GCN heroes is the best port. Special stages were actually possible. I have no clue what crack I was on when I played the ps2 port and was able to comprehend it when I was a kid cuz I was able to get most of the emeralds barring 7

I beat Sonic Heroes when I was 6. The only issue I had was switching rails. "It moves too fast." for a Sonic game is a skill issue.

Sonic Frontiers is actually the greatest mainline game since Sonic Generations with everything between the two being various levels of mediocrity. crazy enough it does something that was never done before and that's having vocal songs for every major boss fight. sure the OG fight with the purple moon called The End was the worst idea Sega has ever come up with and it's a lot worse than Perfect Dark Gaia on the Xbox 360/PS3 version of Sonic Unleashed where to land the final blow you had to input the homing attack sixty times in a single quick time event. the OG final boss is a bullet hell chore that thankfully is only done on hard mode but if you're persistent and determined enough it rewards you with arguably the best ending theme song in the game One Way Dream by Nathan Sharp (also known as the youtuber NateWantsToBattle) as a mid credits song. but I also agree that even with the Free DLC updates it's overall an A Rank due to the minor issues it has.

I do agree with some of these rankings however I will say I don't agree with your ranking of sonic forces. The hate behind the game is overhyped and while you do make some very good points on why it's bad I'd say the game was very fun to play. It was my introduction to the sonic franchise. I remember going on KZbin and I saw these cutscenes for sonic forces and I watched all of them. I thought the game was cool and very fun with a good concept. The gameplay was also relatively good as it focuses primarily on speed unlike some of the other sonic games I've played where you have to wait around or carefully plan your next move. I loved playing this game and destroying robots in the blink of an eye and I thought infinite was a cool character but he was wasted. Overall I feel like this game should at least go into mid or bottom of B tier and at most the very bottom of A tier.

The worst thing about Sonic 06 wasn't the glitches that every 3d Sonic has, but it was the fucking loading screens that killed it. The game is legit 70% loading screens/time.

I agree with the low ranking of Forces, but I think it should be in F tier. I think you forgot to mention that they made you pay 10 dollars or something for the shadow episodes *spoilers below* which didn’t add much to the story besides why Infinite became… the villain. It was literally because Shadow beat him up a little bit and called him a weak loser. Then, the character of Tails got demolished, they somehow brought back Classic Sonic despite the portal to his dimension being closed, if I remember Generations correctly, forever. Your OC can barely be called a character because they had no voice lines and also were just beating up Infinite, somehow. Not to mention they kind of tried to make Infinite like Nazo, except, a pathetic loser.

I think Sega Enterprises Sonic games and Sega corp Sonic games would need two separate tier lists. In the grand scheme Sega Enterprises could steamroll sega corp anyday. It's a shame that Sega Enterprises met it's end in 2002. SA3 could've been epic. The beta dilogue from the ending of SA2 would've hinted towards SA3, but it was changed do to Sega Enterprises' imminent collapse so the dialogue was charged. Also, Shadow did die. There's a cut voice line of him screaming as he burns to dust in the atmosphere. It's disturbing and really emphasizes how agonizing his death was. Then Sega corp ruins everything, and has been a poor joke for the past 22 years. They piggyback on Sega Enterprises' works while making it worse. Then they resurrect Shadow and make him as demented as Joe Biden. Fortunately none of the Sega corp games are canon. (Also, Sonic '06 was literally a waste of time. The story amounted to nothing. A disappointing end to a disappointing game.)

Originally Eggman was moreso disappointed that his plans had failed and that next time he'll conquer the world by himself (without relying on anything else such as Chaos or his grandfather's creations.) Overall he was more hostile in his tone. Tails grumply responded: "Fine with me!" With the seemingly impending bankruptcy of Sega Enterprises (they were in a *REALLY* bad financial situation) they figured it was best to change the dialogue to a more bittersweet tone.

S2, S3, and CD should be in B, Heroes in A, SA1 in A, and SA2 in B. SA2 is downgrade in character progression from SA1, had linear stages with the only exception of the first stage, and you're forced to play with a shooting and treasure hunting gameplay when you didn't have to in SA1.
