Hi Martin, I also have the needle gun attachment that fits on mine, it would make light work of stripping paint back from decks etc without all the dust 👍

@@butlersempire my Pleasure mate, back in my youth and in the motortrade, cut/ chopped up a load of rotten bangers and replaced umpteen body panels with the air chisel, like you say a quick rattle with the help of the air chisel, will loosen the most stubborn friction fit part or rusty nut/bolt especially when it's in a place where heat can't be applied.... mind you a good rinse with WD 40 gets you out of most scrapes... do you know why it's called WD 40 ? I will give you the pleasure of googling it :-) Bill

You could 3d print a replacement trigger for the chisel! Let me know if you need a model to print.
@butlersempire4 жыл бұрын
I did think of that. I do have a 3D printer but its still in the box lol

@@butlersempire an alternative would be if you send me the broken one I could resin cast one with carbon fiber in the resin so supper strong. could do a test 3d printed verses resin cast?

Thank you this was very handy to me. I just bought one. But I would like to know, how to put on the air. I don't have that copper piece you have on the black thing 😅

Hi Martin a man of your calibre you could fashion 1 of those triggers out of metal, it would never break then, though to be fair the trigger that broke looks like its got less plastic to it? than the old trigger you put on, ATB Wayne.

Us pro tools are pretty good, i have the same air hammer though mine has a longer barrel for a harder hit, its very good and was an excellent starter tool for me when i was first getting into air tools, don't use it much now with having the Astro air hammer but its there as a back up, i have say us pro tools are pretty decent ive got a selection of impact guns from 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2" as well as a load of us pro impact sockets all of which are getting on 16 year old now used regularly and still holding up well especially the sockets usually they round out but not these, excellent tools 👍

Those air hammers are a useful piece of kit. I bought an Erbauer one from Screwfix and I wouldn't have been able to replace the rear wheel bearings on the BMW without it.

Would be nice if Martin can forge one from empty aluminum cans. It would be quite the process though
