So sorry you guys had a rough night with the fire dept siren! In the rural country, that's how volunteer firemen have been called in, since before pagers and cell phones. It was faster than calling everyone in by using a lanline. 😘 Nice to see you enjoying your vacay! 🌞

Hi Rosie & Ollie (not sure if im spelling Ollie’s name right 🙈😂). I’m absolutely loving these videos. It just looks amazing your road trip. I would have been exactly the same as you Rosie if I had heard a siren going off I definitely would have freaked 😱. Love your boots they were lovely. These are just the best videos. Oh Rosie, you and Ollie have got me laughing in this episode! All the vlogs have been great and the views are fantastic. I agree about the hostel vs hotel but wow one extreme to the other for Ollie lol. Love the way it’s you that gets to spend the budget on boots! I think you two are an adorable couple! Very impressed with your fearless approach to travel. Enjoy your reactions to Americana! The west is so vast it can be intimidating. Your attitude is always so positive. You and Ollie need to make Hawaii your next destination (where I live) 😊 Maybe do a road trip along the West Coast and then fly over.

Loving these vlogs. And those boots. I think that brand is Miranda Lamberts! Just a suggestion, but it would be so useful if you did a sit down video going through the breakdown of how you go on booking a trip like this from start to finish. I wouldnt know where to start!

I'm enjoying your US videos, it looks like you're having a fab time 🇺🇸 I like how you say "it's only 80 miles and a 5 hour plus drive" I used to say the same when I did a self drive road trip in Australia and New Zealand yet when you are back home in England a 2 hour drive seems a total mission 😂🙈 Love that the bickering was on camera as it's more like real life especially when it comes to car journeys 😂 It's when I had the most arguments with my ex haha! Re the sirens it's scary when that happens. I had the same thing happen in NZ - initially we just thought maybe it's a test and will eventually turn off but then we had to evacuate due to a lahar from the nearby volcano!! 😮 I always order men's jumpers and outer wear so no harm in Olly trying on women's blazers and even buying them if he wants! xx

Such brilliant vlogs, Rosie!! I'd love to do this trip but worry we would struggle to find any vegan food. I think it's a meatlovers paradise lol! Had to laugh at your reaction to the siren! Reminded me of a scary experience we had in the Smokey Mountains-our walls were paper thin and the man in the next room (which had a joining door that was locked) was talking to someone as if he was going to murder them. It was horrendous, like something out of a horror movie. We put all our heavy luggage up against the door and we barely slept for fear on gunshots!! We couldn't leave fast enough the next morning !!!! xx
