The Iranians were very forgiving of coalition actions at their doorstep, verging on friendly. I'm not saying anyone strayed onto their lawn or even above it but if/when that should happen they would just remind them where they were and ask if they needed water and directions. Pretty cool guys and not what you would imagine. Quick shout-out for the Brits involved in this, including the RAF pilot flying one of the Harley formation MC-130s. He had an interesting night.

As a Kurd I wanna thank you for mentioning us, people nowadays forgot that we are USA allies we fought next to them since ww2, and next to European since ww1. Unfortunately president Trump when he was in office said I don't support kurds cause the didn't help us in ww2, which is totally not true, 22 thousands of our troops were in ww2 along side of Americans to fight nazi Germany. But no hate towards President Trump, we are humans and all of us sometimes say something that not have information on it 100%. GOD BLESS USA, HAR BEZHI KURDISTAN.

Kurds are really chill people. Iv spoken with a lot of Turks recently, and they also agree its mostly just politicians being silly atp. Not all Kurds blindly support the PKK, just like how not all Irish blindly support the IRA. Turkey lowkey missed an opportunity to be allies with the Kurdish groups that dont engage in Insurgency with them.

@@honkhonk8009 Turkey is already a great ally of KDP which is like only Kurdish side which never supported PKK. And there are more than a dozen Turkish bases in KDP territory both training their Peshmerga forces and providing protection. PUK banned PKK in territory as well few years ago but they still don't act against them so relations aren't so good. Any sane Kurdish person should see anymore there is only one ally of them and it is Turkey, all others used Kurds..

My impression from this whole series is that this whole invasion was such a muck up, that a more capable army would have inflicted heavier losses to the American coalition. It was most likely thrown together within months and then launched before it even finished the preparation phase.

@The Operations Room You called it "A--Day" on the 21st of March. I remember that term from the news but in US that name A-Day was not used anymore. Interesting, and somehow reassuring to hear that, bc no one I know remembers that term. It may have been conflated w "shock and awe" and news just dumbed it down again. Or Def Dept said hey, don't talk about that so loud - to the news. Odd to me that US doesn't know that term on a widespread basis
