Why? One of things that gives him away is he is so tall. Most of the locals are short due to lack of nutrition. This guy was a grade a knucklehead.

How come U.S.A. claim human rights were violated, when in the country, every day cops and government officials kills civilians, shooting on the back and unarmed, cops plant drugs on innocent civilians, cops and government abusing power, is very disgusting.

Truth be told, I wouldn't want to be a foreigner caught in the US for a misdemeanor either. NK seems the more scary of the two, but when you read all the details of foreign travel advisories to the US? I'd hate to be a Hispanic from S. America or visibly of middle eastern descent. The US has show just how nasty it can be to people with guantanamo and other black sites. People who haven't even been convicted of a crime.

It's very hypocritical to act like the Kim dynasty is so horrible for this guys death. It is very sad this man died horrible this comment is not meant to undermine that. But do you know how many people die in the prisons in the USA in their own country. Literally a man can goto prison for not making enough money in the country to pay child support ect and be murdered in prison by a violent criminal think about that for a min.

Going to north korea is like going to someone's home. Its their home and you have to follow their ground rules. You are a visitor so its expected that you have fun, but at the same time you can't behave inappropriately.
