Hey Matt, you used the wrong logo for the RBC Canadian Open. This years logo uses Nick Taylor as the “I” in “Canadian”.

Occasionally the Men's US Open tries too hard to be the toughest tournament in the world by making the greens too slick and possibly unplayable if on the wrong side of the hole. The LPGA US Open was possibly borderline this year. If Yuka did not have that fantastic last nine holes, then the winner would have ended up at one under par. To be the toughest tournament, you do not need to be that penal. You just need to be a few shots more than the other tournaments and not necessarily ten or more shots. When the undisputed no 1 lady golfer and five other top twenty lady golfers miss the cut by two or more shots, then it says a lot about the golf course and the greens. The US Open should not be a lottery on the greens and about who is the best on lightning greens. There needs to be a good balance between driving, shot making, chipping and putting.

I disagree. I thought this course set-up was perfect. Tough, tough, TOUGH, but do-able.

Around par, maybe a stroke or two either way is the right score for a US Open... Yuka Saso scored -2, which should tell us that it was set up perfectly...only 2 scored better than par.. Yuka scrambled,.made long par putts...thats how you win a US Open..

@@ferdiesanantonio7940 Actually she scored -4, but I agree with your point.
