First, I would like to say thank you guys for this platform for track and field! I got so sick of certain platforms only being messy and talking bad about our track and field athletes. These athletes work hard and I'm sure they don't appreciate people only talking about stuff going on in their personal lives(rumors) and how they wont medal etc. Take a bow fellows...We out here appreciate you so much...Keep up the good work!

Well done to both and keep up the good work. Sprint Athletics/Track is finally on the map as a mainstream sport. Letsile Tebogo is doing his best to not be peaking at the moment and is running these times without having sharpened up with a 100m He is going to come “on” once he has run a few 100s We must remember that he is still doing volumes for running 400m. Wait for at least his 3rd 100m to glimpse at what he will achieve in his 200m this year. He bossed the 400 over the weekend

Tebogo is a gamer ...remember last yr at budapest he said his goals were not to make the podium but rather be a finalist...and what did he do he got double medals.. Now he is saying he is not after that 200m WR...Tebogo talks less ...and ACTS more ... I miss the good vibes that Bolt brought to the games…. Many people don’t like the arrogance that comes with USA victories.

USA always been like that, when bolt won he went around the stadium even waving the Italian flag in rome. That why people love ‘em. He ran to entertain the audience not just for himself or for his country. Bolt was confident but never arrogant. No one can replace his charisma

If BAH get access to all their Athletes, they could put together much stronger M&W Relay Teams; Terrence Jones, Wanya McCoy, Anthonique Strachan, Javonya Valcourt, Quincy Penn & TyNia Gaither (if she hadn't retired early). NGR's M&W 4x1 Teams will also get stronger with the likes of Favour Ashe, Godson Brume, Rosemary Chukwuma & Tobi Amusan. BOT with the likes of Pesela, Ngozi, Thebe & Ditshetelo have the depth to run all the relay prelims in Paris so that Tebogo, Ndori, Scotch & Kebinatshipi can go into the M4x4 Final as fresh as possible!

It may not be correct to say USA has too much talent. I guess it all boils down to well maintained or backed platforms. If you give any human being a platform to unleashed or discover themselves then the competition can begin. Wait and see what will happen at Botswana and SA post the Olympics.

Everyone in Jamaica is very upset with what transpired at the relays. It's obvious the administration doesn't care about relays because they do nothing to enforce the presence of the top-tier athletes, who do not want to participate in relays or even relay practice. They only want to turn up at the global championships and run freestyle, hence their inability to perform at optimum level. When the teams for the World Relays were announced, we all knew it wasn't going to end well; however kudos to them for wanting to represent team 🇯🇲

Cannot force the likes of Shericka to go to the competition and why not let some others get experience at the international level. Olympics is the number one competition I don’t blame them. My only gripe was lack of training to exchange the baton they were all poor
@jomohector5274Ай бұрын
It’s not that serious, Olympics top tier then World championships, even Diamond league is bigger than world relays!
@audreydavis45Ай бұрын
@@jomohector5274 That's not the point. The point is that it serves as qualification for the Olympics, hence the reason most countries were represented by their top athletes. At this point, we do not know whether or not we will even have a 4x400 men's team in Paris because they have not yet qualified and have only until June 30 to do so.

I understand the hate team USA gets and i think it’s because of the arrogance some people show. The world is not as impressed anymore with team USA because they have the best training facilities and a large population. However team Jamaica is different because they out perform the USA consistently with a lot less.
