Actually, your advice is very valuable to me at this time, because I applied to the university alone without any consultant, so I have no knowledge about the process. Can you give me a clear explanation about this.

Very first step is the I20. The university should send you your I20 before you start anything related to visa. After you have it then you can fill the ds160 form online. Simple google search will take you to the ds160 online form. You need to fill that. Then you need to pay ds160 fee or the visa interview fee to the dfcc bank. After that you can make an appointment for the interview. Since you have already gone through B1/B2 you should be familiar with ds160 and appointment scheduling. Ask for the I20 from the university, if they haven’t sent it already. Also since you will be going for an undergraduate degree and you already have a rejection, you will have to prepare very well for the visa interview. I highly recommend watching the F2 dependent visa series that I have done on YT. Because most of the things will be applicable for you since you will have to show your own funding (if you don’t have a scholarship). For F2 also funding and home ties are very important. It will be same for you. So watch that series as well along with F1 series. When you watch you’ll know what are applicable for you (almost all of them are applicable).
