USA GP Sprint Review 2024

Just a little round up of Spanners' thoughts from the Sprint race . Nothing heavy. Probably not worth watching after the main race but it's here if you want it

Nice summary, it will be good to take this into the race chat. George has a problem that no one is acknowledging (least of all himself) and he's a second-rate performer because of it. It's a real shame because he's been with perhaps one of the best tyre-managers of all time and he's learnt *nothing* from him. And we've just had quali and he's just binned it into the wall again costing Verstappen a potential poll.

Enjoyed this very much Richard. More please. I accepted and began enjoying sprint weekends when I realized Sprint quali IS FP2, and the sprint is FP3 only more fun and of course it's a much more entertaining weekend for the folks watching in person. Thank you for all the hard work and genuine passion

In George's case, he chose to drive around the outside and go off track in one of his battles after the other car was already on the inside. He could have backed off and stayed on track.

Sprint Weekends are a mess. There’s no real flow or narrative to the weekend. Friday should remain practice. Saturday do qualifying and then sprint race after based on Friday FP2 times.
