I remember I was once in a competition that would determine if I could start training elite (at only 11). I injured my back. I felt myself start to lose grip of the bar, when I attempted to re grip, my hand came off, I went flying to one side with such force the other one came off too, I went further than the mats and landed on concrete, it was excruciating, my coach came to make sure I was ok, but I wasn’t, first aiders carried me away and called an ambulance, in the hospital they told me my chances of walking again were slim but possible, and I wouldn’t be able to do gymnastics ever again, my world broke to pieces, the thing I’d worked my life for since I was 2, gone because I had a bad grip one day I have so far proved them wrong, I’m currently 14 and can even do a cartwheel now (impressive considering my chances of waking again were low, I’m currently training in a gym with young children because they have no classes for injured people, I love telling my story to the little things and so do they, I’m currently attempting to get back my bridge kick over

Everytime I see Mckayla's fall from the Olympics I actually feel so sick. Actually physically sick. I remember watching it live and feeling like I was gonna throw up. Once I tried rewtaching the vault final and I just couldn't cause I knew what was gonna happen and Mckayla looked so focused and innocent. Oh man that was one of the worst moments in modern gymnastic history for sure. I actually feel sick thinking about it.

I just hate how people think every gymnast is happy with everything they do, they might always look happy but on the inside they are broken, hurt. Some gymnasts lose the joy of gymnastics because everyone expects them to be happy and perfect, but that's not always true, we get body shamed and sometimes we FALL, BUT WE GET BACK UP LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED, because we know that if we look sad, if we start crying, we will not be who everyone expects us to be, we have to be the tough ones, and it's always so hard, if someone is counting on you and you fail to perform, for example Kerri Strugs 1st vault, she just had too much pressure but she got back up like nothing happened. Thanks for reading all of this I just needed to get this off my chest, if you made it this far, just know that if no one else will love you I will and I wont judge you or put any pressure on you because I know how it feels.

Kaia& Ingeborg I have cried of happiness I have Juvenile arthritis and it has made me work harder because my joints hurt and I used to never place on beam until on day I told myself you just have to do what you know and how hard you have worked and I it just proves you have to believe in yourself and have a great mindset ❤️♥️ I have a comp today the 26th of October and 4:30pm and I’m going to do the same

I love this video after I broke my ankle doing gymnasts I lost all my confidence. This song helped me get back up my ankle is still week but is getting stronger my dad has stopped paying for my gymnasts now but I still do it in the woods bear foot and I'm my back garden
