From the beginning it was obvious to anyone who was familiar with the scene and not full of bias, that the US team is not one of the favourites to win it all, with a core of players that couldn't qualify for the playoffs and a coach that can't enable the best players in the world to perform. Everyone knew USA was nowhere near the favourites, and it was always a 2 horse race for the first place between korea and china (with korea being the favourites) and USA, GB and KSA fighting for the third best place at best. I will never understand the delusion Americans subject themselves to every day, overestimating their abilities in every regard and having no regards for reality while being mindlessly convinced that they're superior to others in whatever thing it is, even though they're objectively mediocre at best, and it was obviously visible to anyone who has eyes. From the get-go it was obvious that USA would have a hard time to even get close to KSA, especially after that performance against France. No one should be shocked about this result. It wasn't KSA playing like world-beaters and beating one of the best teams. It was KSA playing quite a bit above average and beating an average team. USA has only 2 modes: trolling against weak opponents to disrespect them and get some sense of accomplishment and losing to better teams.

i tried playing today, and ended up disappointed. my 2 games, that i played. was just plain awful, im a mercy main, and dont plan on changing. i ended up uninstalling the game, because its just the same monotonous shit everyday, where i go to point, and try to live. and when they realize im the problem, the entire enemy team shift their attention to me, and we lose. if you ask me, mercy needs a rework of some kind.
