USA Peavey 35" scale VFL pickup bass battle - maple vs graphite neck - Axcelerator vs. G Bass

Here's another great tone comparison between 2 American made Peavey basses. Both of these basses have active 18 volts preamps with VFL Plus active pickups. The wood neck Axcelerator sports 2 VFL's and a 2 band EQ while the graphite neck G bass has a single VFL in the sweet spot and a 3 band EQ. Both basses sport a 35" scale length. Which bass do you prefer and why? Both basses are recorded through my Zoom G1xOn guitar processor on the same patch.

I prefer the Axcelerator. It sounds bigger.

Man, I really wished I had paid more attention to the Peavey stuff back in the 90s when it was still pretty new. Might not have gone through a couple Fenders I didn't really stick with if I had gone for Peavey option heh.

Again not a graphite neck It’s a graphite skin around a wood neck made by bell and Carlson a. Gun stock company The only graphite neck was the peavey b quad and b quad 5
