Watching the live feed as the U.S. Team walked from the bus to the stadium and then out on the field for warm up they had the "eye of the tiger" and I knew they were going to win. Their body language was relaxed but their eyes showed the intensity and determination inside. They wanted to win so badly that they ended the game in the first 15 minutes. And they still continued to attack. Incredible fitness and focus.

The US and Japan played a marvelous game, it was interesting from start to finish. congratulations to Japan for playing level headed through out most of the game.Japan just had no answer for Lloyd who turned all the way up and lit that net up! When she talks about blacking out the first 30 minutes of the game and playing on instinct from endless hours of training and sacrifice is called being "in the zone".
