Did y'all go down to little river canyon? It's beautiful! It's the deepest gorge this side of the Mississippi river. There's a lot more to discover and see. Next time don't use gps and discover the litt back roads. 🌻🌞❤️ Beautiful place and the people are so nice.

My mother's family lived really close to Mentone, Ala. I have been there frequently in past summers to visit the antique stores and restaurants. My sister and I had lunch in the Wildflower Cafe, and I had pizza that had green tomatoes on it. Really interesting and Southern! I loved going there. I live in St Louis now, so I haven't been in several years. My family have interesting stories from relatives and others in the 20s and 30s who visited a honkytonk there, when it was illegal to sell alcohol in that part of Alabama.
