One thing very Chilean, is to orientate yourself using the mountains, the Andes, if they are to your left, you are facing South and if they are to your right you are facing North. If you are born and rised in Chile you have the cardinal points sense connected to the mountains. Wherever you are in Chile the sun comes from the mountains and goes to the Pacific ocean. But you NEVER think about these facts. They are part of the internal hard disk you are born with like the air surrounding you. The problem is when you are a Chilean, with this auto orientating system built in you, and come out of Chile. You wake up, start walking a few steps on any street, and you are instantly lost. The horrible sensation of not knowing where is North, South, East and West, it really hits you badly, because you have NEVER experienced anything like it. The problem get worse if you happen to be on the Northern hemisfere, because you brain see the sun comming up from South East, not from the North East, shifting you senses many degrees, and it is not comming from the mountains so it tells you "is a sunset", and you think, wait a minute, that is not right! Where is North????? OMG!!! When you look around and for the first time in your life you see no mountains nor an ocean somewhere, your heart sunk in sadness, you feel like a fish out of water. Absolutely out of place, and you cannot help it. You are empty, there is no home for you like that. No mountains!!!! What??? Then you understand that those magnificent piles of rock that you always had next to you all of your life, and never appreciated, are really a part of you, if you are a true Chilean. So if you ever go back to the USA and miss the mountains, then you can consider yourself a born again Chilean. When you are going back to Chile and you see huge mountains everywhere from the air. You heart says "Mom I´m home!!!"

Good video and correct on your point of view. I think all big cities in USA have graffiti some more than others. What I found interesting was that rental cars at the airport are only stick shift , not entirely sure they offer automatic 🤷♀️ I did not have an option when I visited. Last time I had driven a stick shift was long long time ago but quickly had to be reminded. Ideas for your next video would be the role a senior citizen in a household. USA has nursing homes and Chile the older parent is a matriarch and respected and lives with extended family until the end.
