Funnily enough, I actually despise European chocolate. Not because it’s poorly made or anything like that, there’s just way too much sugar and milk in it for me. It’s closer to white chocolate, which I hate with a passion. American chocolate tends to be darker (and I’m specifically talking about the good stuff you can get from small towns). The heavily processed stuff is darker too though, and I’ve heard Europeans don’t like it because it’s “too bitter” and/or “too sour.” However, I’ve had darker European chocolate, and it’s also very good.

To drive from the west border to the east border--or vice versa--across the middle *_IS ELEVEN HUNDRED KILOMETERS AND TAKES ELEVEN AND AND A HALF HOURS._* Think that's bad? To drive from Prince Rupert to Richmond--a fairly common journey--is over 1,500km and takes 17 hours because we have to travel straight east, three-quarters of the way to the eastern border before finding terrain that is flat enough to place a highway to drive south. That trip is from the middle of the western border to the south-west corner of the province. *_THE PROVINCE! WE AREN'T EVEN TALKING ABOUT THE WHOLE COUNTRY; JUST ONE PROVINCE!!!_* (For perspective, that is the distance between Calais and Budapest. Yes, really.)

@@MSKofAlexandria The reason for the cities being named on a template of _New_ (INSERT CITY NAME) is because most of them were either named by their founders who wanted to pay homage to their homelands cities, and because of the citizens usually coming from the same countries. In Old New York, Italian immigrants would want to be by other people from their old country, who shared language, culture, and cuisine. So they would live in a mostly Italian section of the city, nicknamed _Little Italy_ . This trend was repeated in other major cities, and even today you can find high density of people with Italian heritage in those areas.
