Keep in mind, these USA line up was full of youngster player(except Odom & Billups) like Westbrook, Durant, Chandler, Rose and Curry who didn't reached their prime yet, but they did accomplished what the 2002-06 & 2019 USA couldn't in world championship. So what's the key factor ? The dedicated coached, the team chemistry, the motivation, the heart and desire to take the competition seriously. 02-06 & 2019 team were lacking all of that. Although these US team weren't an all star team compared to 92-96 Dream Team and the 2008-12 USA but they managed to won this title because of they key factor I mentioned... I'd say 2010, 1960, 1968, and 1986 USA were the most inspirational winning team ever been in any world championship

Winning titles when young must be much more fulfilling. Rewatching it now after a decade thinking what has happened to these very same US players who were so proud and happy to work and win for the national team in 2010 not even bothering for the 2019 campaign. Seems like, despite that the risk of injury also existed back then, they had yet to prove themselves at the time. Then, the first reason for their presence in 2010 must have been proving themselves, not national pride.

Now that the decade is almost over, that was a pretty good pick (3 finals, 2 titles, 2 FMVP, 1 MVP). And you know what's really crazy? The only one who could have challenged him for the decade (LeBron obviously, but he was a superstar before that) was Steph Curry (4 finals, 3 titles, 2 MVPs) who was just a sophomore back then! I'd rather be Turkey in this. Let me explain why. Basketball is not a popular sport in Europe, as it's completely overshadowed by football. Some of the smaller nations have maybe only 10.000 recreational players, spanding all ages. Which means the European players grew up playing together. When the Championship is over, they scatter to the wind, but the Olympics and FIBA Championships is where they all get to play together again, as they did when they were just kids. The US doesn't have this. I know practically every player on my nation's team personally, and I'm not a pro player. I know them just by being a recreational player.

@@Mr.Byrnes who says that? are the losers from 2006 ? i don't like greeks but they fucked your all championship. We played with all of OUR people. We didn't exploit ALL of Africa like you. If your REAL people was playing this match, they couldn't do anything. Not just you, france, great britain was playing with black teams too. Just exploit and steal, make a war of all around the world, this is all of your country's can do.
