USAF Lockheed C-130J-30 Super Hercules 15-5831 departs from Tampere-Pirkkala Airport to Palanga, Lithuania as HKY722. Also filmed a Finnish Air Force F-18D HN-466 departing for a training flight as BULL 1.

we had one at our airport last week. It was so load and sounded like a large jet aircraft. It did not have the engines running. Trying to find out why it was so noisy just sitting there.

It was the APU, the auxiliary power unit. It’s a small engine on the side of the aircraft (covered by a panel) that you were hearing.
